Little Baby Bumblebee - CCMC342

As soon as I saw this week's color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary I knew I would use the new Baby Bumblebee stamp. Isn't it sweet? Paired with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and Hello Honey ink, could this card *bee* any cuter (see what I did there?) :)

Rubber Ducky Shaker - SSC91 & TSSC347

When I saw the sketch challenge this week for Techno Stamper, I thought SHAKER CARD! Then I saw the color challenge from Sunday Stamps, and realized I could use the soon-to-be-released-in-the-2015-Occasions-catalog Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim in my shaker. What better way to use this awesome blue than to make it look like water with a rubber ducky? I used some of the cool new Sale-a-bration paper called Irresistibly Yours which allows you to color/sponge it in to reveal the cool embossed texture.

Recipe (all Stampin' Up!)
Stamps: Something for Baby, Itty Bitty Banners

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay

Paper: Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White card stock; Irresistibly Yours DSP (SAB), Birthday Bash DSP*

Misc: Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim*, Circle Framelits, Bitty Banner Framelits, Baby's First Framelits, Dimensionals, Pearls, Sponge Dauber, Glue Dots, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder

* 2015 Occasions Catalog

FMS160

I made another baby card today, this one for this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. It's a cute sketch, and I figured it'd make a cute baby card with the Baby We've Grown set. I got to color again a bit with my Blendabilities, so that was fun :)

Recipe (all Stampin' Up!)

Stamps: Baby, We've Grown

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Baked Brown Sugar

Paper: Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White card stock; All Abloom DSP

Misc: Circle Framelits, Starburst Framelits, 2" Circle Punch, Pistachio Pudding Bakers Twine, Dimensionals

Baby Congratulations - TSSC338

I don't often make odd shaped cards, but the sketch this week at Techno Stamper is a square card. I decided that since I needed to make a baby card for one of my husband's employees whose wife is about to deliver, I'd use the sketch for that. I pulled out an old retired teddy set so that I could do some more coloring with my Blendabilities markers, and here's what I ended up with.

Recipe (all Stampin' Up!)

Stamps: Teddy & Train (retired), Bannières Bitty (Itty Bitty Banners)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Coastal Cabana

Paper: Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White card stock; 2013-2015 In Color DSP

Misc: 2" Circle punch, Circle Framelits, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Bitty Banners Framelits, White Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals

Since it was an odd shaped card, I ended up making an envelope with my Envelope Punch Board as well.

A Fun Baby Card - TSSC332

When I first saw this week's sketch for Techno Stamper, I thought for sure I'd be making a Christmas card. But then I took a look at my stamps, and decided to make a baby card instead. After a bunch of changes, this is what I ended up with. I love the little duckie stamp so much, I find him super adorable.

A Gift For Baby - PP210 & FF48

Two weeks ago I was very honored to have had my card chosen as the Fab Fave at Fab Friday. Thanks so much!

Today's card is for the theme challenge at Fab Friday, as well as the sketch challenge at the paper players. I couldn't decide if I wanted to make a boy or girl card, so I ended up making both. I sold out most of my baby cards a couple weeks ago, so I needed to make more anyway!

Sweet Baby for FabFri47

Today I'm sharing a card I made for Fab Friday. This set is super cute, and worked well for this sketch. I colored the bunny with a blender pen in Baked Brown Sugar, Hello Honey and Crisp Cantaloupe ink. The word baby I filled in with the white gel pen.

Baby Laundry - PPA212

Today's card is my take on this week's sketch at Pals Paper Arts. I took a few liberties with the sketch, but it's what popped into my mind when I saw the sketch. I've been meaning to use these little clothespins on something, so this seemed like the perfect excuse.

I stamped the little onesies in Hello Honey and Crisp Cantaloupe, but first I stamped them off onto a scrap of paper, so they wouldn't be as dark. Then I stamped the little flower again on top in the same color.

In With The New! - CCMC301

Oops, I've been busy the past few days! I've been creating, but not stuff to share on my blog (yet). I'm getting married in 2 weeks and have been busy with lots of crafty wedding projects which I'll share on here in a few weeks.

As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I got to pre-order some of our new products that you'll get to order starting June 2, and I used a few of them in today's card for the sketch challenge at Create With Connie and Mary.

I'm so happy that the Decorative Dots embossing folder that was in Sale-a-bration is going to be available in the new catalog. I love that embossing folder!! :) I also used the baker's twine that was in SAB, it's being carried into the new catty in the 2013-2015 In Colors.

I stamped the flowers in the middle part with the flower stamp in the new Something for Baby set 3 times without re-inking in the new Hello Honey ink and Crisp Cantaloupe, to mimic the DSP on the left.

Recipe (all Stampin' Up!)

Stamps: Something for Baby (new!), A Dozen Thoughts

Ink: Hello Honey (new!), Crisp Cantaloupe

Paper: Hello Honey (new!), Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Whisper White card stock, Lullaby DSP (new!)

Misc: Baby's First Framelits dies (new!), Deco Labels framelits, Decorative Dots embossing folder, Crisp Cantaloupe thick baker's twine, rhinestones, dimensionals

Cutest Baby Ever - AW14

The colors for the challenge at Around the World screamed baby card to me, so that's what I made, using the sketch from Always Playing With Paper as well. I couldn't get the little flag in the corner to look right so I left it out.

Stamps: Zoo Babies, Label Love

Ink: Pistachio Pudding, Blushing Bride

Paper: Pistachio Pudding In-Color DSP, Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Whisper White card stock

Misc: So Saffron ribbon (retired), Twitterpated buttons (retired), Fancy Fan embossing folder, sponge dauber, dimensionals, 7/8" scallop circle punch, Artisan Label punch, envelope punch board

Sweet Baby - SSSC210

Baby cards don't usually feature black, but I wanted to use the Sale-a-bration DSP, and I find black really makes the designs pop, so here's a baby card with lots of black.

The design is from this week's sketch challenge at Sweet Sunday.

Recipe:

Stamps: Baby We've Grown

Ink: Black Stazon, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Pistachio Pudding

Paper: Sweet Sorbet DSP, Basic Black, Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding card stock

Misc: Blender pen, Circle framelits, Crisp Cantaloupe twine, White Gel pen

Zoo Babies! PPA188

This week's sketch over at Pals Paper Arts is a pretty simple sketch. I'm not sure I like keeping things simple, but I tried... :)

I like the Zoo Babies set a lot, it's great for baby cards, but for some reason I mostly use the elephant... Maybe because he's a good size to use alone and a good shape?

Anyway, since it was such an easy card, I made a couple more in different colors. :)

Recipe:

Stamps: Zoo Babies, Bannières Bitty

Ink: Smoky Slate, Pistachio Pudding

Paper: 2012-2015 In Color DSP, Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding card stock

Misc: Pistachio Pudding Ruffle Stretch Trim, In Color Boutique Details, Circle Framelits, Bitty Banners Framelits, Decorative Dots embossing folder, glue dots, dimensionals
