For All Things - FabFri51

Today's sketch seems similar to yesterday's card, but this one is for the sketch at Fab Friday. Since Thanksgiving in Canada is coming up this weekend, I decided to make another Thanksgiving themed card. I like the leaf stamp in this set and how it can make such an easy background.

Scattered Thanksgiving - TSSC334

I got the new set called Seasonally Scattered recently, and I figured the large sentiment would look great in the middle of this week's sketch from Techno Stamper. Since it's almost Thanksgiving here in Canada, and it's starting to feel more like fall, I'm getting a little bit more in the mood to use these colors.

Give Thanks

Earlier this week a Facebook group I'm on had the challenge to make a fall themed card using only Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip. No white or other neutrals! It was definitely a bit of a challenge, but in the end this is what I ended up with.

Falling Leaves - PPA219

Well, the colors for this week's challenge at Pals Paper Arts definitely screamed fall to me. I'm really not a fall/thanksgiving/Halloween card maker, so I really don't have many stamps for that genre. I do have this retired maple leaf stamp, so I decided to pull it out and make a super simple thanksgiving card. These colors are not something I use often either, in fact my Always Artichoke ink was still in the wrapper, and I can't remember the last time I used Cajun Craze! They are nice and rich looking however, so I'll have to remember to try to use them more often.
