Stamped Porcelain Christmas Ornaments

On Saturday I saw Amy K's post about stamped porcelain ornaments and almost immediately went to the craft store to grab some blank porcelain ornaments to try to make my own.

I used Black Stazon ink with the Beauty of the Season and Bright & Beautiful stamp sets. I added some Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details and some colored pearls to jazz them up a bit.

Rustic Cardinal - MM133

This card is so simple, and yet anything I tried to add to it didn't look right, so I decided to keep it simple and leave it alone. The challenge this week at Merry Monday is to create a rustic Christmas card using browns, tans and creams. I sponged all the edges to give it a worn, rustic look. Super easy, but I like the end result. This'll be a great card to mass produce.

Recipe (all Stampin' Up!)

Stamps: Beauty of the Season, Good Greetings
Ink: Baked Brown Sugar

Paper: Baked Brown Sugar, Very Vanilla

Misc: Sponge Dauber

Framed Yellow Bird - CCMC312

OK, so I'm no bird expert, and I assume there's no bird that really looks like this, but I wanted to use the new Beauty of the Season today, but didn't want to make a Christmas card just yet since the weather here in Montreal is the perfect summer weather. Instead, I decided to try to use it for this week's color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary, and this is what I came up with...

I used a blender pen to color the bird in Hello Honey, and then my Hello Honey Stampin' Write marker to color the beak and legs a bit darker.

Recipe (all Stampin' Up!)

Stamps: Beauty of the Season

Ink: Black Versamark, Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, Sahara Sand

Paper: Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White card stock; Moonlight DSP stack

Misc: Blender Pen, Labels Collection framelits, Sahara Sand Candy Dots (neutrals), Hello Honey Stampin' Write Marker, Blackberry Bliss ribbon
