Big Blue Bloom - NAC88

Wow, try saying Big Blue Bloom ten times fast! LOL

Here's another sneak peek card using the new stamp Blended Bloom. It's meant to be colored in with our new Blendabilities markers, but I'm not big on coloring, so I embossed it in white and used my daubers to color it in. I made it for the color challenge at Nacho Average Challenge.

Recipe (all Stampin' Up!)

Stamps: Blended Bloom, Delightful Dozen

Ink: Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight

Paper: Watercolor Wonder DSP, Pacific Point, Gumball Green, Whisper White card stock

Misc: White embossing powder, sponge daubers, Fancy Fan embossing folder, rhinestones, dazzling diamonds, dimensionals

Easter Flowers - NAC81

I kept today's card pretty simple, not many layers or embellishments, but I think it's still cute and spring-y. I made a portrait and landscape version of the sketch from Nacho Average Challenge. I also used a colour challenge from a Facebook group.

I need to get a couple extra Easter cards ready for a show I'm doing tomorrow, so I made one in English and one in French.

Ink: Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Basic Gray

PaperCalypso Coral, Basic Gray, Whisper White card stock

Pretty Mother's Day card

I made this card for the Try Stampin' On Tuesday sketch challenge. I was also making a card using Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla and Basic Black for a colour challenge. The TSOT challenge was also to make a card for spring. I think the colours in this are great for that.

I love the flower, but it's kinda big for cards. Since I'll be giving this one to my mom for Mother's Day I figured it was alright, but for sure you couldn't mail it.

Recipe:

Stamps: Delightful Dozen

Ink: Versamark

PaperBlushing Bride, Basic Black card stock, Modern Medley DSP

Misc: Black embossing powder, Fancy Fan embossing folder, Spiral Flower die, large rhinestone, glue gun

Get Well Soon!

Here's a card I did last night for a color challenge on a Facebook group. The colors to use were Calypso Coral and Baked Brown Sugar, and it had to be a get well card.

I used the Gorgeous Grunge set again for the background. I'm loving how easy it is to make different colored backgrounds with this set. The flowers are using the new Petite Petals set and Flower Shop, and punched with the coordinating punches. The sentiment comes from the Delightful Dozen set, and is die cut with the Labels Collection framelits. I inked the edges a bit with a sponge dauber and some Baked Brown Sugar ink. The New Arrows embossing folder is quickly becoming one of my new favorites. I love the design it has. I finished off the card with a strip of Calypso Coral card stock punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch, and some pearls on the flowers.
