SAB Fun! Sketch TSSC299

I finally got some time to play in my craft room! I've been trying to think of a card to make for the Techno Stamper sketch challenge this week. Here's what I finally came up with:

I wanted to use lots of SAB items for another challenge as well. How many free sale-a-bration items can you spot?

Recipe:

Stamps: Banner Blast (SAB), See Ya Later (SAB)

Ink: Black Stazon, Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding

Paper: Sweet Sorbet DSP (SAB), Basic Black, Whisper White, Summer Starfruit card stock

Misc: Banner punch (SAB), circle framelits, oval framelits, In Color Boutique details, glue dots, Pool Party twine from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory pack (SAB), sponge dauber

I love how the 3 flower punches can all be layered. The stamp is the French version of the See Ya Later sale-a-bration set called J'en reviens pas!

Blue and Green Should Never Be Seen...

It's always fun to create, especially when you're using FREE STUFF!! Almost everything in this card (stamps, DSP, twine, cork flower, embossing folder) was FREE as a sale-a-bration item. You can get these for free too for every 60$ you spend!!

I made this card for the sketch challenge of the week at Try Stampin on Tuesday.

I love blue and green together, even though it used to be some faux pas... :)

You Make Me Happy

I spent some time in my craft room this afternoon playing around with more new stuff. I tried another sketch challenge from here, and this is what I came up with.

I love the new Sweet Sorbet DSP that will be available during sale-a-bration. Isn't it pretty? The flower in the corner is also a SAB item, the printed cork from the Sweet Sorbet Accessory pack. I colored the flower with my Pool Party marker and finished it off with some bling. The background is embossed with the new Arrows embossing folder. I sponged around the edges of the DSP to make it pop a bit. The sentiment is from the See Ya Later set which will also be available for free during sale-a-bration.

Recipe:

Paper: Sweet Sorbet DSP, Basic Black, Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe card stock

Ink: Black StazOn, Baked Brown Sugar (sponged)

Stamp: See Ya Later

Misc: Arrows embossing folder, Sweet Sorbet Accessory pack, chevron ribbon, rhinestones.
