Just Another Love Card - CCMC287

I wanted to use some of the Valentine sets for this card. The sketch I was using from Create with Connie and Mary this week was very pretty and simple, so I tried to stay close to it.

I'm not used to leaving the background un-embossed or inked or something, but I like it anyway :) I punched out a small heart in the oval to give the white oval a little something extra because it was looking a bit plain when I first did it... I added a small Vintage Faceted button (which are on sale this week!) to finish off the heart.

The Love sentiment is from the Follow My Heart set, and I used Versamark to ink up just the part I wanted and then embossed it with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. I added a strip of the DSP inside to finish it off.

Recipe:

Stamps: Follow My Heart, Language of Love

Ink: Real Red, Crumb Cake

Paper: Fresh Prints DSP, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White card stock, Red Glimmer paper

Misc: Small Heart punch, Heart punch, Oval framelits, Rhinestones, Vintage Faceted Buttons, Linen Thread, sponge dauber
