Purple Paint Chip - TSOT182

When I saw this week's sketch challenge at Try Stampin' On Tuesday, I knew I wanted to use my clear stamp blocks for the ombre effect. I ended up using the B block for this, and after a previous attempt, ended up stamping them off first onto scrap paper before stamping onto my card. I love the marbled effect you get, and it's always a surprise how each one will turn out.

A Merry Little Wish - TSSC329

I've been posting cards made with items from the new Holiday Catalog for a few weeks now, and since it's finally available to order from as of August 28th, I figured I'd make another card using some of my new toys to show what you could be making too! This card is for the sketch challenge at Techno Stamper this week. I love this tree stamp, as soon as I saw this set I knew I wanted it if only for this stamp. The other stamps are awesome too though!

Bright Bicycle - NAC104

Sponged Doily Wreath - MM123

This week's challenge at Merry Monday is to make a card with a wreath on it. Since I don't really have any wreath stamps, I decided to be creative. I inked up a Tea Lace Paper Doily with a sponge dauber and Mossy Meadow ink. Next I cut the center out of it with a circle framelit. The ribbon is the 5/8" Whisper White Organza ribbon, which I colored with the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities marker to make it red. Finally, I decorated the wreath with some rhinestones that were also colored with my Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities marker.

Happy Hanukkah for AW23

Two weeks ago my card was chosen for the Top 3 and Readers Choice at Around the World Stampin' Up! Challenges. Thank you so much, it's so nice to be recognized!

 

 

As soon as I saw this sketch from Around the World Stampin' Up! Challenges, I knew I was going to use the new Happy Hanukkah set for it. This menorah stamp is a new single stamp coming in the new Holiday catalog. I actually cut the sentiment off, so I could use them separately. I was asked several times last year at craft shows for a Hanukkah card, so I figured I might as well get a couple ready. The silver foil sheet of DSP from the new All Is Calm pack is perfect for this card!

Bright Pink Daisies - PPA216

Here's a card I made for the sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts this week. It's super bright and colorful, which isn't my usual scheme, but I wanted to use my Sweet Taffy DSP and these colors seemed to work with the flowers. I hadn't played with my Blendabilites markers in awhile, so I figured I'd pull them out for this card. Here's what I ended up with:

Postage Petite Petals - NAC103

I was a bit unsure how to approach this week's sketch challenge at Nacho Average Challenge. It's a very simple sketch but leaves a lot of blank space. In the end, I like the simplicity that I ended up with, even though it's somewhat busy at the bottom. The new Crushed Curry embossing powder gives a great punch of color on the Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

I have a hard time using gold and silver together, but I pulled out some different things and this is what I ended up with. I love the new greeting set Good Greetings, which anyone can earn for free if they host a workshop of over 325$ beginning August 28 (when the new Holiday catalog also launches!)

Here's my card that I made for the sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps. I don't usually add so many embellishments to my cards, but with all the flowers it seemed to need some extra "stuff". I like how all the bright colors here go together and yet still make it look soft and girly.

My Little Pony Punch Art Birthday Card - PP209

I can't decide whether to laugh at this or not, but here's my attempt at a child's birthday card for this week's challenge at the paper players. I wanted to make a punch art card for this challenge, and wanted to do something that hadn't been done before. I searched Pinterest for My Little Pony punch art, and didn't find anything, so I decided to give it a try. There's something missing for her nose, and she kinda looks like a pig with hair to me, but let's pretend she's a MLP :)

 

I made her hair with the Strawberry Slush Baker's twine, which I unraveled. Her body is made with various Stampin' Up! punches. The background is embossed with the new Lucky Stars embossing folder, which will be available in the Holiday catalog in another week!

Washi Christmas Card

I made this super easy Christmas card, and I just love it. It's so bright and fun, but easy peasy to make, since it's mainly just washi tape and punched pieces. I love the mix of blue, green and gold here.
