Purple Paint Chip - TSOT182

When I saw this week's sketch challenge at Try Stampin' On Tuesday, I knew I wanted to use my clear stamp blocks for the ombre effect. I ended up using the B block for this, and after a previous attempt, ended up stamping them off first onto scrap paper before stamping onto my card. I love the marbled effect you get, and it's always a surprise how each one will turn out.

Recipe (all Stampin' Up!)

Stamps: Serene Silhouettes, Petite Pairs, B Block

Ink: Versamark, Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Perfect Plum, Wisteria Wonder

Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Perfect Plum card stock

Misc: Blackberry Bliss Stitched Satin Ribbon, Silver Baker's Twine, Black Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Rhinestones

I stamped the flowers in the inside of the card in Perfect Plum, you can see it peeking out here:

  3. Hi Emily, I love what you have done for the challenge this week at TSOT. I love your color combo and the fact that you grounded your ribbon/twine wtih a piece of cardstock! Never would have thought of that one, but it's such a nice, simple touch. Thanks for joining us this week at Try Stampin' On Tuesday!
